Holiday Lights for Health

One Light Can Change a Life...

Join Us!
Holiday Lights Celebration
Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 7 p.m.
Methodist Medical Center Main Lobby

For more than 16 years, The Hospitality Houses of the Methodist Medical Center have provided comfort and a home away from home for thousands of patients and their families. Your support is the key to the success of this wonderful program. We could not have made it this far without you!

At the Houses our guests find free lodging, food, rest and, most of all, companionship for the journey as they deal with stressful times and difficult diagnoses. Each year we are challenged to raise funds to maintain our houses and ensure that all of our guests are provided the very best hospitality we can give.

Your contributions to the Hospitality Houses make it possible for us to continue to serve. A $1.5 million endowment is being created to support the Manly and Calm houses in perpetuity. Unless otherwise designated, your gifts to the 2012 Holiday Lights for Health campaign will help build this endowment. Your gift ensures the compassionate service of the Hospitality Houses will always be available to the patients and families who need it now and in the future.

A donation to the Holiday Lights campaign is a unique and wonderful way to honor friends and loved ones during this season of giving. Won’t you join us, please? We’ll share your generosity by sending special honorarium or memorial cards to whomever you designate when you make your gift.

Light up a life with us this holiday season!

“I live in Tazewell and I have leukemia. I have been coming to Oak Ridge for treatment for 4 years. If it wasn’t for being able to stay here I don’t know what we would do. We always feel welcome and are helped so much by the staff here. Thank you to everyone.”
guests from Tazewell, Tennessee

“Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in this wonderful house while our mother was in ICU. This proves there are angels on earth.”
