Methodist's Hospitality Houses recently celebrated the completion of a pair of walkways constructed by the CALM program. The walkways connect the two Hospitality Houses and ensure guests, staff and volunteers have a safe, convenient way to cross between houses and access the primary parking area.

For the last 11 years, the Ritzy Thimble Quilters’ Guild has offered a unique kind of support to the cancer patients at the Hospitality Houses.  The guild has provided lap quilts for each patient staying at the houses.  While each quilt is different, they are all made in the same pattern of generosity and compassion.

Methodist Medical Center honored cancer survivors, their family and friends by holding Survivor Sundae, an ice cream social celebrating National Cancer Survivor Day on Sunday, June 1. Nearly 100 people gathered to enjoy the free event, connect with other survivors and listen to music by the Mt. LeConte Jug Band.
