The Methodist Medical Center Foundation will host its annual St. Patrick’s Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 15 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at Aubrey’s in Oak Ridge. Local physicians will trade their lab coats and stethoscopes for aprons and trays as they join the event as servers. Guests will also be treated to festive live Irish music.

Norman Mulvenon of Oak Ridge was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2009 and has experienced difficulty with his speech. But he is speaking louder and more clearly these days, thanks to a specialized program called "LSVT LOUD" offered through the speech therapy department at Methodist Therapy Services in Oak Ridge.
