Fungal Meningitis Outbreak Does Not Effect Methodist's Patients
You may have heard in national news about a fungal meningitis outbreak linked to a compounded steroid injection supplied by the New England Compounding Company (NECC). The injections are a common treatment for back pain.
Thankfully, Methodist Medical Center has never purchased any injectable products from the company in question.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the patients and families affected by this outbreak.
