The Methodist Medical Center Foundation designates these gifts for the area of greatest need.

Bereavement Services Fund
Supports bereavement services program offered at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Cancer Fund
Supports needs of Thompson Cancer Survival Center at Methodist and/or their patients.

Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab Fund
Supports patient care needs and continuing education for cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation staff.

Congestive Heart Failure Fund
The Congestive Heart Failure Outpatient Program at Methodist is designed to assist patients that have congestive heart failure. The goals are to provide education, strict monitoring, and support for both the patient and family members.

Funds designated to the Congestive Heart Failure Fund provide support to the Congestive Heart Failure outpatient programs at Methodist Medical Center.

Family Birthing Center
The Family Birthing Center offers many amenities for the mother- and father-to-be: birthing suite for the family, private rooms, special support for dad, and educational classes for the entire family.

Donations to the Family Birthing Center provide support to indigent patients using the facility.

Heart Program Fund
Supports the needs of Methodist Medical Center's cardiac services, as well as provides financial assistance to indigent care patients.

Hospitality House Fund
The Hospitality House opened in 1997 to serve people who must travel long distances for extended treatment. Methodist Medical Center renovated the 1940s-era house, and created four home-like suites with a common living room, a kitchen-dining area, and a laundry room.

Funds designated to the Hospitality House provide free housing to patients and families in need who require extended treatment and have traveled 30 or more miles.

Indigent Care Fund
Provides financial assistance to indigent or underprivileged patients for their medical needs.

Methodist Hospice/HomeCare Fund
Provides funds for training, equipment, or patient financial assistance.

Wellness Place Fund
The Wellness Place combines the services of Methodist Senior Connection, the Women's Center, and Methodist Diabetes Center with the hospital's congestive heart failure program.

Funds are used to support the Wellness Place programs and services for patients and the community.
