The Methodist Hospital Foundation

The mission of Methodist Hospital Foundation is to raise charitable gifts and bequests from the general public including individuals, businesses, corporations, and foundations primarily for the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge and consistent with the Charter of the Methodist Hospital Foundation in order to:
- Provide individuals and institutions with an opportunity to extend the gift of health to citizens of this portion of the Southern Appalachian Region. Philanthropic opportunities should be limited to those not normally provided by MMC and not reimbursable by public or private insurance.
- Support the application of innovative outreach approaches to extend and improve health care services to the people of this area.
- Achieve for Methodist Medical Center a higher level of mutual understanding and involvement with the communities it serves.
