Tuesday’s Health Night to focus on our skin and wound care

Love the skin you’re in by understanding the importance of skin care as we age – especially as it relates to wound care.   The aging process, combined with problems such as diabetes, blood flow problems, and the like, can lead to fragile skin, opening the door to the development of chronic wounds.  Being knowledgeable about proper skin care along with options such as hyperbaric oxygen treatment can help minimize and manage non-healing wounds.             David Stanley, MD, is a board-certified vascular surgeon and Medical Director of the Methodist Wound Treatment Center.

Join wound care specialist David Stanley, MD along with Methodist Wound Treatment Center clinicians, Michelle Bailey, RN and Shanon Gearin, LPN at Methodist Medical Center’s Health Night on the Town lecture on Tuesday, April 24. The program will start at 7 p.m. in the Ridge Conference Room of Methodist Medical Center located at 990 Oak Ridge Turnpike.

This program is part of Methodist Medical Center’s continuing Health Night on the Town series. Programs are free of charge and open to the public.
