Support Groups

Stroke Support Group

The Stroke Support Group is an educational and social organization for patients, families and others who have been affected by a stroke. We invite you to attend our meetings, which are held the last Tuesday of every month* from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Cheyenne Ambulatory Center’s conference room (944 Oak Ridge Turnpike).  For more information, call Allyson Holt at (865) 835-5260  or Melissa Grater at (865) 835-3370.
*Special meetings are held in July and December, no meeting in November. Please call for details.

Grief Support Group

Covenant Hospice offers ongoing monthly grief support groups. The Oak Ridge group meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. or 3 p.m. in the Legacy Room of Methodist Medical Center. The group offers a safe environment where those who have experienced the death of a loved one can find comfort, support and hope. The groups are informal. You may attend meetings as you wish, for as long as you want. The grief support group meetings are open to the community and are free of charge, but registration is required. Grief Support after the Loss of a Baby

Mended Hearts

Mended Hearts is a national and community-based non-profit organization that has been offering the gift of hope to heart disease patients, their families and caregivers. Our support groups help people understand that there can be a rich, rewarding life after heart disease diagnosis. Mended Hearts volunteers offer peer-to-peer support to patients, family members and caregivers via:
